Travel with Jessica - 10 Days to Egypt & Jordan

This 10-day escorted tour, guided throughout by Travel Joy Egypt's guide Jessica, combines Egypt's Cairo and Nile Valley sites with a Jordan extension that includes an overnight in Petra and camping in Wadi Rum.

The Egypt portion opens with the Giza pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara, and Memphis, a Nile dinner cruise, and a Cairo city day covering the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Citadel, the Mohamed Ali Mosque, and Khan el-Khalili, before a flight to Aswan to board a 5-star Nile cruise.

Cruise days take in the Philae Temple, the Unfinished Obelisk, an early excursion to Abu Simbel, and temple stops at Kom Ombo and Edfu on the way to Luxor, where the East Bank's Karnak and Luxor temples and an optional sunrise balloon ride over the West Bank round out the Egypt leg before flying to Amman. In Jordan, the group travels to Petra overnight to explore its rock-cut architecture, then continues to Wadi Rum for a night of desert camping.

The Egypt portion includes six airport pickups and all day tours by private air-conditioned vehicle, a private Spanish-speaking Egyptologist guide, the Cairo-Aswan and Luxor-Cairo flights, four nights of accommodation in Cairo and three nights on the Nile cruise on a full-board basis, meals during day tours, entrance fees to the main sites, and the private drive between Aswan and Abu Simbel; visas for Egypt and Jordan, tips, personal expenses, and optional tours in either country are not included.
