Day 1: Welcome to Cairo: A Gentle Introduction

Giza PyramidsDay 2: Giza's Ancient Marvels & The Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, begin your exploration of Egypt's ancient heritage. Your first stop is the iconic Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids and the enigmatic Sphinx. Spend ample time marveling at these ancient wonders, reflecting on their construction and purpose. Here, you'll explore some significant historical sites, including the Roman-era Labakha springs, the ancient Temple of Hibis, a Persian-period temple, and the impressive early Christian necropolis of Al Bagawat, with its domed tombs and well-preserved frescoes. You'll also visit the local Kharga Museum. Following lunch, you'll begin your journey eastward, covering a substantial distance by private vehicle, until you reach Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes. Check into your hotel and settle in for the night.
